Chai Tea is first a great alternative to coffee

especially for those with heartburn and acid reflux. Though Chai itself can cause heartburn it is not nearly as bad as coffee because it contains some other ingredients besides Black Tea or Chicory. Chicory is better for you. Other ingredients are cinnamon, clove, ginger, cardamom, coriander, and sometimes vanilla or nutmeg. on, help with detoxification, and boost energy. When I was a big coffee drinker in college I tried a Chai Latte and spit it out all over the place. Tastes have changed or may be the Chai Lattes I have today are made better. I don’t know but I know I really enjoy them today. Try replacing your milk with Soy and adding some Vanilla especially if you have lactose issues.
